Hello friends!!!I welcome you with a new topic which is usual for us but; again we unusually notice it. One of the best dry fruits with lowest fat or you may say with zero fat. Can you guess what is it? Yes that is crunchy and healthy Almond. It is said that Almonds are seeds and actually ‘drupe’ So it can not be listed as nut.
Almond is a big package of body building nutrients. Because Almonds are overloaded with vitamins, Minerals, Fibers and proteins. One handful of Almonds has 1/8th proportion of our daily protein needs. Many a times, Almonds can be a healthy substitute for snacks in such swift and time bound routine and Almond can be enjoyable any time.
Almond As Antioxidants:
We all know that we are surrounded by environment which tends oxidation in human body that produces free radicals. These free radicals may damage to our cells. For this reason, we need antioxidants.
Almonds are rich source of an antioxidant. Study says that intake of Almonds on daily basis uplift the level of vitamin E, as vitamin E is strong antioxidant which defends damage of the cells occurs because of polluted environment.

Blanching the Almond or soaking it in water for several hours make almond easy to remove its skin which may help digestion of Almond easier and can be tolerated with IBS.
